Bondage or Bandage?

Hi, everyone! Everything here´s been wet, wet, wet for more than a week now and so bear with me with the indoor photos. Not that I get to take a lot of outdoor photos quite often. hahaha!

Yesterday the hubz and I had the car checked for maintenance. On the way home we passed by Haro in La Rioja to drink a glass of wine and eat some pinchos ( Spanish tapas). Too bad I wasn´t able to slip the camera inside my bag and take pictures of the mini-trip. It´s been raining a lot in here and I didn´t think my unwilling photographer(meaning: the hubz) would dare take my photos under the pouring rain.

Heyneyway, how would you call a skirt such as this? Some bloggers/sites call this a bondage skirt while others a bandage skirt. I´m a bit confused. I only bought this skirt because it´s stretchy, it has studs and it was on sale! ;) 

Now leaving you with some smile (no, make that a preen). Hey, a cold and dreary day shouldn´t be a reason to lose your smile/ not have a good ole laugh! :)

I love the bandage skirt! I've been wanting to get one but am a bit scared by the short hemlines and the tightness of it (my hips are not my best feature!)

Weird that my pictures didn't show up for you... I'll look into that!

Oh wow, that skirt is gorgeous! I love bandage skirts (thats what I call them!) and that one looks amazing on you! I like the studs on the side too, its not over the top at all.

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
