WIWW: Colorblocking Khaki

Image
Hello, hellooo! How´s the week so far? My Monday was spent having coffee and catching up with some friends and yesterday was ¨autumn cleaning¨ day. It´s the time of the year where the summer clothes go up the closet and the darker and thicker clothing goes down and because we still have a few summery days left, I made good use of my skirts like this tulle number in khaki: As the years go, I have noticed that my dressing aesthetic has gone much simpler like dressing in one color and wearing a multi-colored bag or in this case in a contrasting color to complete the look. I find that outfits like this doesn´t take much time to create, quite a no-brainer actually but always come out sleek, IMO. As  a plus, tulle skirts are actually perfect to wear on transitional weather because they´re actually warm on those chilly days and yes, the red orange and khaki is the perfect color block autumn combo for me. WIWW: Color Blocking in Dusty Rose and Blue

Image
Good morning, everyone! How´s your week so far? So here I am again after a month of not posting anything, hahaha! Anyway, with all the shades of pink that has been trending this spring, I couldn´t help but pick a few tops in my favorite shade, dusty rose and pair it with a dark blue culottes: Pardon the grumpy face, we took these pics in a flash ( pun intended ) at someone´s garage door and so it was a flurry of clicks and we´re gone before  the owner can even say ¨hello and ask ¨ whatchudoin on my garage door ¨. 😅 I also upgraded my bag collection with a faux snakeskin printed cross body bag in yep, pink(and red), hehehe. Mango is killing it in the bag department lately. This season there are a lot of really cute bags with affordable prices and I was able to buy a few without breaking the bank nor waiting for the sales season. That´s great isn´t it? ;) The culottes are from Primark´s last winter sale. Although I´m loving their length, it´s a little bit big on me an...

Monday Remix: Denim Cut-offs and Cream

Image
Good morning, blogger friends! Here´s something very casual and summery getup for today: a pair of  denim cut-offs, cream colored flowy top and open-toed flat sandals to complete the ensemble. Summer´s officialy here, finally! :) I love accessories especially jewelry but I don´t know why I always forget to photograph them, must be because I´m getting old, hahaha! For this very casual look, I decided wear this love necklace which I bought for sale at Suite Blanco years ago. This is one of my go-to necklacse when I feel like wearing dainty jewelry. It´s quite light! top - Zara, denim cut-offs - Pull&Bear, sandals - Pimkie, bag(very old )- Massimo Dutti Here are some ways that I´ve worn these denim cut-offs: Happy Monday! Hugs, Che

Flyday Fridays: At Codorniu

Good morning, luvs! School´s finally done for the year and I´m happy to say that I passed all of the exams too! I consider this as a great achievement on my part because I took the whole course in Spanish ( I didn´t have a choice with the language, hahaha!) . The last time that I went to school was to take my degree in the university and pass the license exams which was more than 20 years ago. So just imagine the tremendous pressure that I was going through the whole year. Anyway, since I´m on a summer break, I can finally go back to one of my favorite pastime, blogging. :) Here´s a short travel post on my trip to the Codorniu Cava Winery in April. For those of you who aren´t familiar with the word ¨cava¨, it´s the Spanish equivalent of France´s champagne. top - Comptoir des Cotonniers, pants - Zara This is my second time to visit a cava winery on the Catalonian region. My first visit was at the Freixenet Cava Winery which you can read here . The Codorniu Cava Winery has a l...

Monday Remix: Super Casual

Image
Good morning, peeps! How did your wekend go? Mine was summery, for  realz ! I mean, the temperature´s really gone  loco  this season. Just when I was starting to wear tights and a thicker jacket, suddenly the weather changed her mind again and we´re having 26 ÂșC over the weekend. Really weird but I´m loving it though.  This was my outfit a few days ago. I think my student life has totally changed my dressing style from better to worse, hahaha! So to redeem my super casual outfit, I decided to colorblock my pink ish   top with a purple tote. It´s quite a subtle mix but I hope you noticed it. ;) top - Pimkie , jeans - Primark, shoes - Massimo Dutti, bag - Purificacion Garcia You´ve seen the black pants and loafers a lot of times in the blog but I first wore the purple tote here: So how´s the weather in your place? Hugs, Che PS: Linking up with Patti , Molly , Lauren , Rhea , Erin and Lauren . Link with us! :)
