Monday Remix: Super Casual

Good morning, peeps!

How did your wekend go? Mine was summery, for realz! I mean, the temperature´s really gone loco this season. Just when I was starting to wear tights and a thicker jacket, suddenly the weather changed her mind again and we´re having 26 ºC over the weekend. Really weird but I´m loving it though.

This was my outfit a few days ago. I think my student life has totally changed my dressing style from better to worse, hahaha! So to redeem my super casual outfit, I decided to colorblock my pinkish  top with a purple tote. It´s quite a subtle mix but I hope you noticed it. ;)

It was definitely summery her also, during the day, because our evenings are chilly and nights even more chilly. Love both of those tops. You look relaxed and cool.

The weather here in the NW is kinda on and off as well. One day we get our expected rainy days and then it is sunny but cool. You never know so layering is a must :) Love the pink on you. Enjoy the good weather!! XOXO, Elif

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
