Dressing Up For Me

Hello, everyone! Here´s a lone snippet of what I wore about two weeks ago. The weather´s turn spring- y to an even summery temperature today and so it looks like winter has gone for good. So consider this a fitting farewell outfit to winter 2018-2019. ;) coat- Pull&Bear, jeans- mango, booties- Zara, bag- Zara The tonal look is a huge trend this year and being a vertically challenged girl that I am, I welcome this trend with open and willing arms.😁 FACT: All of the items that I´m wearing are from the current sales except for the booties which I´ve had for two years now.  Hello, my loves! Yep, it´s been half a year since I´ve been gone. As usual, real life got in the way with virtual life ( although I wasn´t really very active with virtual life to begin with, oops!) . Anyhoo,   here´s just to give you  a heads up that I´m still alive and kicking and even if I may  be not upgrading the blog with new posts for a very lo ooong time, I´m still on trend with the, uh, trends . 😃 Like for example, the ubiquitous animal print aka  leopard print, I´m still wearing it. Mine though is a jacket from more than two years ago. A print like this never goes out of style and so you better stock on it. Hello, everyone! Just passing by to say hi. The weather´s been true winter- y these days and that means, either snow or rain and nothing in-between. So I´ve been wearing a lot of this wool coat with jeans and trainers these days. For those semi-dry days which are like a rarity(hehe), I wear these sock boots from the current sales: Here´s a dresing room selfie of what I was wearing inside my coat, the  sweater is quite old but a keeper. I´m so loving these boot cut jeans that I scored from the Zara sales lately. Although it loos like that they make my legs bigger and shorter ( which they really are, lol!😁) in the pics, they´re very comfy. Also, boot cut and straight leg jeans are perfect with sock boots. I´m so loving this combo! Hellooo!!! Here´s what I wore when  the hub z and I went on a long weekend trip to Portugal two weeks ago. The weather´s so summery that I only packed nothing but this skirt, a shirt dress, sandals! skirt - Zara,  sunglasses - Massimo Dutti,  mules - Marypaz I bought this skirt from the summer sales. No one really picked this one out because who would want to wear a dark and thick floral skirt in the middle of summer? No, I don´t but hey, I always think about the future and so she( I always call my skirts and dresses a she, lol!) went home with me. Glad that I did because for me,  she´s the perfect skirt  to wear in autumn/fall. Just pair a short sleeved top and mules/sandals with it for those warm weather days and... a jumper/sweater with tights and boots/booties or whatever shoes you like wearing on those chilly days and you´re done! Good morning, my darlings! Finally, it´s spring, yay! Have you done your spring cleaning? ;) I have but then last weekend, the temperatures dropped to  winter-y levels and so I´m back to my thick puffer jacket again. What´s new? This is one of those times of the year where the weather turns bright and summery to cold---- freezing cold in like... a day? Anyway, on those days where it´s sunny, I make do with a thick sweater/jumper like this one I´m wearing: It´s quite thick and warm still ( no need to put on a jacket with it)  and colored blue which pairs well with my dark indigo and black jeans too. Good morning,everyone! It´s been a month since my last post. I know  and I´ve no excuses this time, hehe.😍 Anyway, you all know that yesterday was Valentines Day. We didn´t go out for dinner because, ya know,  falling in line to get seats in a super  crowded restaurant isn´t our cup of tea. We went to lunch instead near our place. And... cliche of all cliches, yes, I wore red, hahaha! The sun was up and bright yesterday and  the temperature was spring- y. Truth be told, I´m quite fed up of wearing thick sweaters and so I pulled out this Burberry wool sweater from my bottom drawer and a current pair of comfy jeans and voila, V-day outfit solved! I´ve always been wary of wearing boyfriend jeans because they make me look like a sack of potatoes but I think I found the right pair (though it´s still quite loose on the hips) that makes me look alright. Helooo, hellooo! So yeah, it´s scarf season again, my dears! Although I collect scarves, I hardly ever wear one except when I´m on the train and trying to get some sleep ( scarf as a mini pillow=cool, hahaha!) . But scarves are really  outfit  game changers because they can make or break an outfit just like your bag and shoes. I snatched this colorful number from the Zara sales last summer thinking about wearing it this season although I´ve already debuted this a few months ago when the weather went chilly on us. Good morning, dahlings! You know me, I like breezy and comfy. I wore this outfit when the hub z and I had a day trip to Barcelona at the beginning of the month. It was sizzling hot ( for real!) and as usual the main streets are jam-packed with tourists and everything in the Catalonian capital. If you´re there at that time, I could´ve bumped into you literally without you and me knowing it! I´m obsessed with culottes lately and although one of my closest friends didn´t agree with me when I bought this pair with her, I just smiled  and bought it anyway, hahaha! Hi, everyone!!! Pardon the blog silence, school season´s started so this gal has to prioritize her time between home duties and school duties and the blog just sort of got left out, oooops. I also love this chambray shirt but I think it´s a tad small for me and the next size was already sold out, huhuhu . It´s too bad because the above items were 50% off. Good morning, luvs! School´s finally done for the year and I´m happy to say that I passed all of the exams too! I consider this as a great achievement on my part because I took the whole course in Spanish ( I didn´t have a choice with the language, hahaha!) . The last time that I went to school was to take my degree in the university and pass the license exams which was more than 20 years ago. So just imagine the tremendous pressure that I was going through the whole year. Hello all! Is my blogging posting groove back on? ;) After almost half a year of sporadic posting, I finally got to take some more outfit pics to show you today. Oh well, it isn´t much but at least  I got to post some, hahaha! Hello, world! :) I´m still busy with schoolwork nowadays and so here´s a short post for you today. When I get lazy, I always go for my tried and tested monochrome look, this time with a silk blue top and a pleated skor t( yes, it´s also a pair of shorts aside from looking like a skirt!) Just add an eyecatching clutch( I used a leopard printed clutch) and colorful jewelry and you´re good to go. As for this pair of shoes, it´s quite tricky to walk on this for a flats- wearing girl like me but I managed to sashay without embarrassing myself for more than an hour. Not bad at all, not bad.
