Dressing Up For Me

Hi, all! So I was gone AWOL again for four days, what´s new? Sorry guys, the Christmas rush caught up with me and I didn´t have time to post anything. I was supposed to continue my wine series last Friday but with the party planning and neverending small get togethers with long lost friends before the year ends, I didn´t have the enough time to compose a coherent and cohesive post for you. I´ll make it up to you this Friday, okies? ;) Anyway as the hubz and I we´re doing our usual paseos in the plaza square, I can´t help but notice the Christmas lights on the streets and buildings around. Spring is in the air my dahlings ! I can definitely see the flower buds sprouting on trees and hear the birds chirping and the hubz´s sneezes in the other room. ;) ( necklace - H&M, ring - Bijou Briget) How nice it it to wear something light finally (with a minimum of layering)  and walk under the bright sun for once in flats sans thick socks. * huge grin here * ( top - Blanco, inner - Mango, pants - Pimkie) Anyway, another thing which makes it special this month is that it´s my birthday month! Love this cabochon shaped cocktail ring, an advanced birthday gift from a friend of mine. Now if only my hands  weren´t that wrinkly... So how´s life in your side of the world? ;) xoxo, Che

Halooo! So how did your weekend go? ;) I spent mine eating Filipino Spaghetti ( that means with hotdogs), meat dumplings (siaomai)  and chocolate cake with my girlfriends last Saturday. It was so much fun, my belly ached not only from eating too much food but also from lots of girly talk and nonstop laughing. hahaha! Anyway, this was what I wore. My favorite floral skirt in black getup. I also wore this here and here . Haven´t I told you how versatile it is? Just change the color of the top and/or tights and you have a different look anyytime! ;) I also wore this vintage gold necklace and medallion (gift from Mother in law) to compliment the black getup. The best compliment of all is this sheepskin jacket or is that shearling? which I bought at a charity shop for brace yourself ... less than 10 euros. Now who says you need to spend a lot to be trendy? ;) So was I lucky or not? ;) Just one look before I sign out:...

No, it´s not the magazine. :) What I mean is that I´ve always loved nylon bags. They´re light, easy to bring along and durable. I have a very petite frame and small shoulders and so the smaller and less bulky the bag, the better. Over the years I´ve quite made a collection out of some nylon bags which I normally  ab use until they die on me.hehe! using my Tommy Hilfiger in Bordeaux(France) This gray bag is relatively new and my favorite right now. You can see this in almost all of my recent summer posts. For me, summer bags should be small and light to lug around because you need to stay comfortable in the summer heat and not be a slave to your big and heavy leather bag. using a UC of Benetton bag in El Puente Mantible ( La Rioja-Alavesa, Spain) It is a 6 year old rectangular bag which I hardly use right now.
