Monday Remix: Chambray and Longchamp

Image
Do you remember this chambray combination that I wore when I went on a weekend trip to Bordeaux this summer? Well yours trully hasn´t been a very creative blogger. The backdrop has changed though if that adds a little help to remixing my Bordeaux look. What do you think? On the last day of my Galician trip, I just changed the bag color, wore a different pair of sandals and put on a hat. It´s not the best look but it was certainly one of my comfiest and nothing beats that! ;) I had most of my outfit posts taken at the scenic La Playa de Las Catedrales ( As Catedrais in Galician) in Ribadeo, one most visited beach and natural tourist spot in Spain because of it´s HUGE and spectacular rock formation which only manifests itself  during low tide. More of this place in one of my Friday Flyday posts soon. dress , sandals and hat - Zara, bag - Longchamp le Pliage In the meantime, I wish you a Happy Monday and let´s have a great week, shall we? Hugs! Che PS: Linking u

WIWW: Yellow Mode

Image
Holaaaa! Oh well, it looks like autumn came on time because we´re having cooler weather this week to as low as 9ºC at night time. We still have sun but the air gets colder every time especially in the early morning. I´m not complaining though because finally I can wear my long sleeved knits and can layer as much as I can. I´m wearing yellow today to celebrate the fantastic summer that we had. It was really good while it lasted! :) I´ve already worn the blue necklace, brown leather clutch and yellow flats a lot of times here in the blog save for the floral skirt which I´ve worn only once in one of my WIWW posts and so this outfit might look similar to you. This is what I usually do when I create a new look, I mix old and new to create something new. Makes sense or no? ;) Pardon the gloomy pics, we took this on a very cloudy day a few weeks ago and yes, as usual my photos aren´t updated but I assure you, they go well with the cloudy and cold weather that we´re having to

Monday Remix: These Days...

Image
Hello, peeps ! I missed out on my Friday post last week, hehehe! Soweee , real life´s been hectic lately and it catches up with my blogging life really fast. For those who are working/ going to school and yet blogs everyday, I wonder how you do it. I don´t even blog that much, only 3 times a week and yet, I´m usually left behind! Anyway, here´s my uniform these days: a pair of shorts ( the more ripped, the better it feels) , any flowy top and an eyecatching crossbody bag for everyday errands . I know, I know . I´ve been making you envious of the seemingly endless summer days that we´re having nowadays but hey, I missed my layers too and I´ve had enough tan to last me a lifetime. So autumn/fall, I´m so ooo ready for ya . ;) You might have only seen this pair of denim shorties once in the blog but I wear this thrice a week. They´re so cool and comfy especially when you´re on the street at 28 ºC  and trust me, we´re having this temp for more than a month a now. I ev

WIWW: Silky Seafoam Green

Image
Good morning,  my luvs ! I´m wearing denim and silk in the blog today. Although I have my fair share of skirt wearing days, my fall back casual chic look would always be denim, a delicate top and heels. They always work for me and I´m sure for you too! I scored this seafoam green colored mulberry silk top from the summer sales. I tend to hoard tops like this during the sales season because they´re discounted compared to buying them at a regular price during regular season. You may not know this but light silk shirts are perfect to wear during summer because of it´s  breathable texture. Another sale find is this starfish necklace which was hot about two years ago. You know that I´m matchy-matchy and so I paired the necklace with the top to go with my sea- inspired theme, lol! Oh and the candy striped woven clutch/bag(it has an attached chain) is another sale find too from one of my favorite inexpensive accessories and bags store, Suite Blanco. I was sad when both of it´s

Monday Remix: Ready for Fall

Image
How are you all? I´m kinda tired of the summer sun already. I¨m ready for fall, who´s with me? ;) Unfortunately, the temperature continues to rise on this side of the world and the only thing I can do is wear dark printed floral tops in anticipation for fall. Red is also a favorite color for fall and I can´t pat my back enough for scoring this red tote from the recent summer sales. This had been my loyal companion throughout summer( it has even travelled with me to London). Do you have a favorite bag which you ca´t stop using the whole year round? I think this is going to be THE BAG and so I´m taking really good care of it. ;) We took these photos in the garden of a mansion-museum near our place. Too bad I wasn´t able to take photos of the whole house. It´s so beautiful in a 1920s sort of way. top(old) - New Yorker, jeans(very old) - H&M, shoes - Massimo Dutti, bag(summer sale) - Zara So how´s your weekend? I laid low and stayed at home because of the summ

Flyday Fridays: At the Cloister

Image
Happy Friday, dahlings ! :) Continuing on with my Galician( Spain) summer road trip while I can still post summery pics in the blog.Today, let me bring you to Ourense, one of Galicia´s bustling capital cities. But first, here´s a photo of the town hall: It was a rainy day on this particular day and so I wore a denim jacket over my shirt but still wore shorts because the temperature was okay. We didn´t get to photograph a lot because it was raining most of the time and so after visiting the church, we stayed most of the time at the cloister of the Monasterio(Monastery) de San Francisco. The cloister was newly renovated. After twelve years of continuous work and re-opened two years ago and we´re really lucky that we got to step inside and sit under the date trees. It has a romanesque-gothic style and was built in the 14th century. For those who love this skind of architecture, it´s worth a visit. We´re very careful not to touch very hard the columns while taking these

WIWW: A Little Leather and Knit

Image
Holaaaa! As I´ve been telling you the other day, summer´s still in full swing in my little town but the very hot weather doesn´t stop me from wearing a faux leather   skirt and a knitted top with a sexy see-through neckline. Just make sure that the material is light and not heavy for extra comfort and I wore a mini skirt here for more air flow around the legs. ;) Since I´m on a black and off-white mode, I chose my current favorite red clutch for a pop of color. There´s nothing much to say except that I went back to school and I´m trying hard to wake up way much earlier because my classes start very early. I´m not a morning person and my body clock is still in a state of denial and so these days, it´s always a struggle to get up from the bed, argh!  I wonder how will this go once winter starts.... top - Maje, skirt and shoes - local brand, clutch - Zara, necklace(old) - H&M, bangles - Massimo Dutti Anyway, I wish you a great Wednesday and I hope good thing
