Monday Remix: Rock and Red
Hello, Monday!
I´m making the most of the last days of summer visiting places of interest. Case point, these huge slabs arranged like a deck of cards in the middle of the wheatfield. And no, these aren´t just an ordinary pile of huge rocks, they are more than a thousand years old and were once used as a burial ground in here. This quaint architecture is called a dolmen. Naturally, I had to take my outfit pics with them , hahaha!
I wore this top and shorts combo while visiting my doctor. Yes, we´re that casual and cool in here. With my doctor, I mean.;) I´m more than glad that she´s a girl too because my top´s see-through, hahaha! Frankly, I was already in the street when the hubz (who insists that he isn´t a prude) commented that my top is quite sheer to wear as it is. But I tell ya it´s so light and it´s made of mulberry silk and it´s cool to the body.
I only have two kinds of shorts in my closet, denim and those with solid colors. I´ve been wearing to death my denims and my black and white shorts( which you´ve already seen here in the blog) and so it´s time to take out this red pair.
Looking at my old pics, I´ve only worn this a few times like this one when I went up to Saint- Jean- Pied- de- Port in France:
and when I paired it with a stripes top more than two years ago. Gotta wear this more before the cool days stay for good!
I had a busy Saturday last weekeend, the hubz and I visited a very old salt marsh and got lost in the mountains. Will tell you about it soon, it´s a very interesting tour ( around the salt marsh and how salt was produced) and very informative too!
I wish you a productive week, y´all! :)
xoxo,
Che
