Monday Remix: Jazzing Up a Graphic Shirt

Good morning, dears! :)

So how do you jazz up an embellished graphic shirt? Easy peasy.

Just wear a cute skirt instead of the usual pants--> half tuck the shirt in, use a metallic clutch and finish with a pair of heels. Et, voila! :)

And don´t forget to smile though I felt silly smiling by myself just before the camera timer went off. I bought the top when Custo Barcelona opened it´s pop-up store in 2011 in Passeig de Gracia en Barcelona and the skirt is another old find from Mango.

I first wore the top and skirt in 2012 and forgot about them last year, a hoarder problem, I know, hihi!

I LOVE graphic tee's and especially whimsical prints like yours. The second tee you showed in an outfit from a while ago is also as cute! The skirt has a very unique shape and goes perfectly with your tee. Love this all around :) XOXO, Elif

Great job on this little styling project. You look grand, and that's a pretty shirt to begin with. I can imagine it might work for an old lady like me, except with an abstract graphic. I'll keep an eye out ... I'd like to try this!

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Monday Remix: Winter White and Teal

Hi, y´all! So here I am again, posing in front of my kitchen door. My photographer aka the hub z  isn´t available today and so I´m back shooting in my kitchen(again), I hope you don´t mind! ;) Here´s another winter white version with an ivory top which you´ve already seen me wear here in the blog and my favorite white pants. The furry clutch in teal is another recent addition to my growing clutch collection which doesn´t seem to stop, ooops ! I would like to call this as my winter farewell outfit although technically spring starts on the 3rd week of  March and snow´s coming this week. ;) top and clutch - Zara, pants- Pimkie, shoes- local store I´ve worn the top here: And the pants here: and with this black/white Mango sweater which accidentaly went into the hubby´s church donation pile early last year. Cheesecake, anyone?

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. I´m going to hide my face for now. ;) Do you have a wgi (weight gain indicator and I made this up)  in your body? I do and it´s my face (aside from the muffin top). hehe!;) earrings - bazaar (Phils.) I love shirt dresses. They´re loose and they basically hide anything that you wanted to hide. Know what I mean? ;) One bad thing about this particular dress shirt though is the fit. It´s too loose, a bit short and it doesn´t look good with my mini ... and so a lot of rolling and folding was done to achieve the  laid back look that I wanted to create . That´s me rolling and folding below. ;) I´m just kidding about hiding my face. Here it is... and yes, my face is so healthy, no? :) Say hello to the weight gain culprit ! My guilt...
