My Current Statement Piece

A statement piece is something that pops from your outfit. It could be an exotic/huge piece of jewelry, a gorgeous bag, a fabulous pair of shoes or it can be just as simple as an elegant looking scarf. This beautiful multicolored skirt is my current statement piece. I can wear it as a long skirt with a tank top ...

or I can rework it as a flowy tube dress with or without a tank top. Belted or beltless, the possibilities are endless if you´re creative and innovative. ;)

This is how the back of the dress looks like with a slim belt. You can use any colored belt or even a wide belt if you like, I´m just showing you a sample of my trying hard creation. hahaha!

I know a lot of you are more creative than me and so take it away and do your thing with any long skirt that you may have right now. In the meantime allow me to walk out of the room and strut my stuff outside. ;)

Ooops... and for the record, this skirt is thrifted! Don´t forget to show me a photo or leave me a link on your latest rework or outfit combination. I´d love to see them or I can show them here if you like. ;)

Happy weekend, dahlings! :)

I love it! Statment pieces are so much fun to wear, and I love how colourful your one is. My current statement piece is a pair of crazy heels.

OMG! You put a tiny white belt to that skirt and made a dress - and it looks amazing!! I absolutely love it. What a wonderful statement piece. And that you got it at a thrift store just makes it that much more special. Good share!

This statement piece has exclamation points all over it! Really nice!

Love the 2nd look! Not trying hard at all. Ingenious is how I'd put it, specially with the use of the white thin knotted belt! Love, love!
