Pink Panther

I still have lots of photos from the trip to show you but since my last post kinda had a photo overload, let´s segue to a what-I-wore portion for now. ;) Wearing a plain shirt and a pair of light capri pants is what keeps me going these days in this unbearable heat. I just layer the top with a vest to make the whole look interesting. ;)




My current lip gloss ran out on me and so I needed a new one but still in pink.haha!


I´m loving this color right now. It´s called Violine Quartz by Yves Rocher, a French brand. It´s actually a dark shade but in the photo it turned out lighter. I can´t wear red lipstick/gloss even if I´m dying to because it doesn´t suit the color of my skin and I have thick lips. So pink or light brown it is. ;)


Oh and yes, if you´re wondering what the title is all about, I´m wearing a Pink Panther printed shirt by Bershka. Just can´t let go of the kiddie side in me. ;)

That's such a great tee. I recognised it being from Bershka the moment I saw it (I spend far too much time in that store). And I love how you put it with the denim waistcoat.

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur.
