French Countryside

Halooo!

So how´s your weekend going? Yesterday, we decided to take a trip to the French countryside despite the day being rainy and cloudy as a belated V-day date.


We went up to St. Jean Pied de Port and bought my favorite macarons. There wasn´t a lot going on at the streets and so...



I only get to photograph the macaron store and the cute little black dog who was wandering around.


This was what I wore:

V-neck sweater- Mango

A spur of the moment outfit. I was thinking of the floral tights first and the rest followed. Not something perfect and well thought of  but the lace up boots was comfortable and so that´s okay for me.

tights- Blanco, boots- New Yorker

The only clear picture that was taken of my gray denim jacket but still blurred. lol!


Just so you´d know, I did saw some colors in the French countryside. It wasn´t all dreary and grey all the time, there were also green and reddish brown once in a while. ;)


Going back home, we stopped by St. Jean de Luz, there was a sale going on. I saw a striped knitted top which I really liked but I held on to my wallet. Wow, looks like my self-control is getting stronger! ;)

it is raining her as well...boo...it is suppose to be summer here haahhaha!!!!

I spent my weekend, pigging out and resting...and also a trip to the doctor because of some heart problems but I am okay hehehee...

love the boots....I wish I can always wear boots here in Bangkok :D

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
