Connect the Dots

Haloooo!

I wouldn´t be posting my NYE menu here because I know that food is the last thing on your mind right now after all those days of bingeing. So here goes my NYE outfit:

Yup, I wore dots and lots of circles!

The same goes for my ring with these colorful round stones.

Got tired of wearing tights and so I just put on a pair of brown socks for my clogs. Problem solved! hahaha

As a New Year´s Eve Filipino tradition, I wore dots. Circles mean unending good luck and more money (I fervently hope so). Then the hubz and I gobbled 12 grapes just before midnight as part of the Spanish tradition. A mix of east and west? Sounds good to me. ;)

So what did you do to invite Lady Luck your way? I didn´t make noise, nor jump, nor collect and jingled lots of coins but I did dance (because I was tipsy). ;)

Here´s me goofing around just before setting the table. The chairs are still.. ah.. covered. hihihi

May this year bring us prosperity, success and good health! I also want to thank all of you for taking the time to read my posts even if most of the time they´re kinda boring. I tried to be witty but words and imagination escape me most of the time. hahaha! Anyway, here´s to another fashion-filled, bling-ey and well spent (meaning no over-budget) year to all of us!

Kisses from here,

Che

So colorful! I've never heard of the dots tradition. On New Years Day we eat black eyed peas & collard greens for good luck & money. It's usually done in the Southern US states
