I was a bit hesitant to wear a ruffled skirt ever since my hips decided not to stop growing sideways but I can´t help that they were 80% off the original price. Can you resist that price for a piece of evergreen and a little crumpled thang? ;) I think the dark top did a pretty good job too in concealing what shouldn´t be revealed. What d´yah think? ;)

Need to hide my face in this photo because it looked so puffy. I took this photo this morning after I got out of bed and decided to do the dreaded autumn cleaning. Okay so that was the plan. In the end all I did was mix, match and tried on everything that was supposed to be segregated and disposed. Haha, talk about procrastination to the max, hello favorite vice! ;)

Oops, need to press some clothes! Time to go now. Have a sunny day tomorrow, dears! :)

Thank you! :) I was wondering about Mango.. Since it originates from Spain, do you guys have lower prices there? Maybe because you dont have to pay for custom taxes and freight fees and stuff. Just wondering ;D

@ Gayle: Yes, I would assume that Mango prices are cheaper here in Spain compared to the other countries but don´t quote me on this. ;)

What I´m sure is that Zara prices are the same in Spain and Portugal but 20% higher in France.

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
