Gray Tiers

Hi, everyone!

More summer 2009 photos while I´m still recovering:

gray tiered dress- Pull&Bear

What I hate about wedges sans buckle is that they slip after a few wears.


floral bangle and earring set- Sfera

I bought this floral set from a store called Sfera in the summer sales last year. Little did I know, that would be my the last visit to Sfera here because later it closed. Too bad, this store sells a lot of cute stuff and not too pricey either.  I feel bad when one of my favorite stores closes down, do you too?


Just something comfy and gray  for those sunny spring days to compliment the flowers. A denim vest would make this dress not so girly, don´t you think?

The weekend was spent at home counting the black spots on my face and planning lots of  out-of -the city trips  with the hubz. Can´t wait for the day when my skin turns all nice and clear once again. In the meantime, just dream on, Che. :)

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
