Go, Tiger!

Hello, lovelies!

So how´s your weekend going? My Saturday was spent watching Prince of Persia  in the theater surrounded by giggling teenagers. The hubz was complaining that this was what we got for watching a Walt Disney movie. He doesn´t like watching movies, I only drag him there because it´s part of our anniversary date. hahaha!

Later, after visiting the MIL,  I watched Eurovision. Spain´s Daniel Diges got to perform twice because somebody decided to join in and became an instant back-up dancer in the middle of the show. Talk about spontaneity. hihihi! Not being biased( and not because Daniel´s cute and bedimpled), I was rooting for Spain´s song. It´s actually different. Too bad, not everybody in Europe understood the lyrics though which I think is a minus point because majority of the performers sang in English.

This is the first time that I´m wearing animal print (fierce looking at that) and I´m kinda liking it. ;) My black version of the safari look actually. I only remembered taking these photos when we´re about to fold in and so excuse the haggard look on my face. :)

I really like this look.It's so fresh and cool,the tiger print is awesome.Haha on the "Prince of Persia" adventure.Oh,I've watched Eurovision too last night.I've seen the incident with Spain,good thing they let him perform again.What were your favorite songs? I liked Azerbaidjan and Ukraine.

My hubs doesn't like going places either but I am able to drag him a lot. I love that shirt! that's the style I am going for now esp with all the bulges in my tummy. I'm glad you had a great anniversary. Gusto ko din ang shoes. Ang dami mong damit.

I saw Eurovision last night as well and actually really liked Spain's performance. I did think that Germany deserved the win though. The girl was adorable.

I didn't watch prince of persia but i would like to! I can't believe your hubbie doesn't like watching movies :O I thought EVERYONE in the world loved movies!! And I didn't watch eurovision either so I have no comment on that. But you look as cute as ever! :)

Mi amiga! I love all the elements here! The animal print tee, jeans, wedge, long chain and turquoise ring! Fierce but not in-your-face fierce! Love, love!!

My weekend was so busy, had a French Laundry tasting party with friends which was a success naman. However, it involved 2 days of cooking so now, my legs and calf hurt like crazy!!

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. I´m going to hide my face for now. ;) Do you have a wgi (weight gain indicator and I made this up)  in your body? I do and it´s my face (aside from the muffin top). hehe!;) earrings - bazaar (Phils.) I love shirt dresses. They´re loose and they basically hide anything that you wanted to hide. Know what I mean? ;) One bad thing about this particular dress shirt though is the fit. It´s too loose, a bit short and it doesn´t look good with my mini ... and so a lot of rolling and folding was done to achieve the  laid back look that I wanted to create . Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
