Flyday Fridays: Stars and the Wheatfields

Happy 4th of July to my US blogger friends and readers!

I hope the bad weather in there isn´t dumping your celebratory spirit today. Anyway, the hubz took these photos the other day (when it was still sunny) while we´re taking a walk at a protected park at the back of our place. I thought of posting these photos next week but I´ve noticed that I´m wearing a ¨star- spangled¨ top, so here´s a tribute to my American friends on the other side of the world! The outfit would be perfect if  I´d also worn a red clutch but since I live in Europe, this would do, right? ;)

We´re in the middle of summer my friends and most of the wheat has turned golden brown and ready for harvesting. See? Although I live in the city, I can still see wheatfields like these around here. It´s so refreshing to see that the place where I live is not a complete concrete jungle and I can still breathe a lot of  fresh air around me.

I am in love with the top, hat and purse. Between all the blue colors of the outfit, the jeans and the fedora this is a Classy Americana Look, a little patriotic too for the 4th of July. =)

I love your hat. I wear more and more hats now, to keep my bald warm esp at night! LOL, it's true.

Madrid Weekend- 2

Warning : Slightly photo heavy post. ;)   coat, tights - Zara, bag -Balenciaga Sunday morning was spent at the Prado Museum. There was an exhibit of Auguste Renoir´s paintings at one of the salas but the line is too long ( for entrance tickets and entrance to sala) and so we opted out. Instead we went to see Rubens´works, Velasquez´ Las Meninas and Goya´s The Naked and the Cloth Maja.   We only had until midday to see the sights and then presto, off to my cold city again. huhuhu! I planned to wear this pair but I got blisters after one day of walking with it and so silver flats it was.  ring - Sfera On the way back to the train station we stopped by El Parque Retiro . Glad to have stopped here. Everything is nice and colorful in the heart of  old and gray Madrid.  Can´t stop taking a photo of these buildings at Alcala street. WIWW: Lace Peplum

Happy Wednesday, peeps! :) Here´s another fall inspired outfit for you today. I got this lace peplum top from the winter sales this year and I was thinking this would be the perfect piece to usher in fall. What do you think? The printed pants is from last year and it still is one of my fave pants to mix and match. :) So are you starting to shop for fall? I´m still shopping from my closet but I´m on a look out for a few fall themed sweaters out there. Gotta be prepared for the cold that´s gonna start this weekend.
