Anything Goes Monday: OOTD Sunday

Hello, all!

Have you tried taking outfit photos in the cemetery? Well, I just did and yeah, I´m crazy like that. hahaha! We visited FIL´s( father-in-law) tomb yesterday and just before leaving the place, a morbid idea came to my mind. I told the hubz to take my outfit photos and good thing he was game. We did it in 3 minutes flat and here it goes:

I also debuted my blue suede booties(pardon the blurred photo) which have been sitting in my closet for a month.

I´ve always thought of having an outfit photo taken in a cemetery. It sounds spoooky( lol!) but this cemetery is more than a hundred years old and it has a very old world feel to it. So would you dare? ;)

Great outfit! Every piece perfection, and I think the blue is genius. Very good situation for your photos ... cemeteries can be so beautiful and full of interesting neutrals to highlight color. Great instincts, you kids.

Oh Che! This is way cute. Primarily love the autumn ensemble that is so fun and stylish. Snaps for you.

I have been late getting to Visible Monday Hoppers because my newest grandson was born on Monday and he had lung complications. He is still in the hospital but is improving. It has been a topsy- turvy week that is for dang sure.

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
