Some Spots For Ya

It´s been a while since I wore animal prints. Are they still in? I was looking for something light and airy to wear and I found this one year old top at the bottom of my closet drawer. Good thing it has a dark print so you can´t see that it´s wrinkled. Ooops!

And look what I´ve found while rummaging through one of my jewelry boxes, a pair of butterfly earrings. I thought this pair was lost forever! It´s just perfect for summer because it´s light and not too dangly for my small ears. :) If you´re wundrin´ what are those white marks near my jawline, that´s my sunblock gone awry, lol!

There´s nothing fancy about this ensemble (like always). It´s just one of those simple and comfy casual outfits which are great to go around town. As for the flat sandals, I can hop, skip and run with it without a care in the world. You can´t just do all of that while wearing heels you know because you´d surely break your ankles. ;) So wear flats and enjoy your summer. Just don´t forget to wear your sun block( evenly blended not smeared like mine) and hat! :)

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
