That Floral Dress

When the hubz and I visit places, it is de rigueur that I also visit the shops after we visit all the museums and all the important places there are to see in that place. After all, walking with him non-stop and not complaining even if my legs are sore ( that´s why I ALWAYS wear flats when we travel) deserves a little reward, no? So while visiting Palencia last January, I snucked in at Bershka.


They´re having a winter sale but  a girl´s gotta be prepared fro the sunny and warm days and so I tried this floral dress on. ;)


I sorta missing my short wavy hair and bangs coz right now I look like a witch with my long wavy hair, hehe! Should I cut it again or shouldn´t I?


So anyway since this dress was on sale, I just can´t say no and bought it. I haven´t debuted this yet and it´s been sitting ¨crumpled¨ in my closet for more than five months now. Hmmm, I wonder what I should wear with it.

Any ideas? ;)

That's beautiful! You could wear it with a blazer + some nude heels for a slightly glam/smart look or team with a cardigan and some flats or boots for a relaxed spring/summer look :) - this would also work in winter with some tights :)

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
