WIWW: B/W, Stripes and Red

I´m bringing WIWW to you from my kitchen door today! ;)

With more than four years of  posting outfit photos here in the blog( yep, I´ve been here that long although I don´t take it seriously, hahaha!) this outfit´s got to be my most favorite look. After years of  finding the style that works best for my lifestyle and body type and experimenting with trends once in a while, I´ve come to realize that minimalist dressing is the ONE for me. I could go over the top  with colors and prints because I also love vibrant colors and crazy prints but clean lines and a flattering silhouette really makes a difference when you dress up. Agree or agree? ;)

So today my darlings, the secret´s out. I´m part of the minimalist dressing cult. lol! Okay, I know that you´ve known that all along so much so if you´re a regular reader of my blog. Don´t get me wrong, I still love my prints and bold colors but dressing up in neutral colors is perfect to me too!

This is a lovely look...and u really look the best in this outfit!

One should always dress as per their own style sensibility!!...As for me, I have a very diverse dressing style...which has evolved over the years..currently its a lot about bohemian prints/textiles and prints!!

That style of skirt is perfect on you - it makes your waist look so tiny! I live in gray Seattle, so I tend to gravitate towards color.

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur.
