Monday Remix: Brown Mili Coat

Happy Monday, luvs!

2014-02-05 11.53.43

Taking outfit photos on a windy day is no mean feat. We shot a lot of  bloopers and only got this photo right below. The shot above doesn´t count, that´s the testing shot, lol!). Moving on, let me share with you this wool mili coat which doesn´t get shown in the blog often but worn a lot of times in real life. The coat has  a structured shoulder which is great for small shouldered petites like me and the brass buttons give it an air of fun. As for it´s dark brown color, I find it severe but hey, it´s a classic color and pretty hides much the stains/dirt until the next dry cleaning, hahaha!

jacket(old)- Sandro, top and jeans(old)- Zara, booties and bag- Bimba&Lola
I wore the coat while visiting the ruins of an ancient Roman amphitheatre(yep, it´s that old!) in Zaragoza, Spain way 2012.

Then last December when  we visited Alicante, I used this as my top coat especially in the early mornings when it´s still very chilly.

I often come home and realize the only usable shots are the test ones.:D That pisses me quite off, to be honest.:) I love your coat, dear, military style's one of my favorites! I don't have a military coat, only a jacket, I'm still searching for the perfect coat. And since winter is almost over, I guess it'll have to wait another year.:) Have a great day, babe!;)
I've wanted to add a military coat to my closet for so long! I still haven't gotten one yet, sigh. PS. I LOVE all your bags!

Vanessa

Great coat! I love the detail on the cuffs, too!
Loving that coat, I am obsessed with coats lately ( maybe because of all the cold and snow we are having)

Nice coat Cheryl! I saw one similar at a Goodwill yesterday but they wanted nearly $50 for it. Nah, thrift prices have to be a ton less if they will snag my dough. lol

You remind me to go get my military style jackets out! As you show, all it takes for definitive coolness is a well-cut military jacket, some great fitting jeans and aviators. Classic, and GREAT as you wear them. You look perfect.
