Flyday Fridays: Rainy Weekend in Bilbao
Hi, all!
It´s been more than a month since we went ¨out of town¨ and since we´re a couple with itchy feet, we drove to the nearest bustling city near our place last weekend which is Bilbao. I´ve featured Bilbao a lot of times here in the blog and so I´ll just make this short with some pics which were taken on a bleak, rainy afternoon. ;)
the 165-meter tall Iberdrola Tower, the tallest scrycraper in the Spanish basque Country at the moment
the gothic St. James Cathedral probably built before Bilbao was founded in 1300
and the old opera house called Teatro Arriaga built in 1890
Since it was a rainy day, I wore black and lots of layers. Pardon the raccoon eyes and droopy eye bags, this happens when your bedtime is past 1am in the morning for the last couple of months which is surely becoming a habit. It´s soooo bad, don´t follow me!
Bilbao is such a great place to shop. It has a lot of stores to choose from and a lot of things to find, just like this cute yellow envelope pouch which I got on sale for only 5.99 €. It´s perfect to wear any season. Can you beat that? ;)
And you? What have you been doing lately except standing in line in your fave restaurant right now for your Valentine´s Day date? ;)
Happy Hearts Day, everyone! :)
Kisses,
Che
