Flyday Fridays: Mateus Palace
Ola! :)
Did you remember my trip at the Douro region early spring of this year? I bet you don´t because that was more than three months ago and like always, I post my travel photos very late, like one season late, hahaha!. Anyway, here´s one of the places that we´ve been to, the Mateus Palace in Vila Real(Portugal).
It´s like an old southern style mansion only much bigger and well-preserved which was handed down from one generation to another. Unfortunately, taking photographs is prohibited inside and so I only got take photos outside but the view´s still breathtaking, isn´t it? ;)
The place boasts of a well- manicured garden which is as photogenic as it looks for real:
Ah, life´s beautiful and I wish this is my home, hahaha! Hmmm, I wonder how much it costs to maintain this place because we had to pay 9.50 euros to see both the gardens and the main house.
I recommend that you visit this place once you visit the Douro region of Portugal. It´s such a fantastic place to get lost to especially the gardens. ;)
I hope you enjoyed this post.
Have a lovely weekend, everyone! :)
Hugs,
Che
