Anything Goes Monday: Fuchsia Accents and Wood

Just when I thought that I´ve finally escaped the the sticky and sweat inducing tropical heat, here I am again at the mercy of the dry and super sunny European summer right now. You just don´t know how many tubes of sunscreen/sunblock I´ve used these days to keep my freckles at bay and to slather my arms, neck,legs and feet just before stepping out into the street. Do you also use SPF creams everywhere your body even if you don´t go to the beach? ;)

Anyway, since shortie shorts are out of the question ( I´m too old for that and my orange peel aka cellulite would be horrified, lol), a modest and breezy skirt would be the best alternative to beat the heat. I just go for a colorful accent like a fuchsia colored bag, bracelet, watch and wood bangles for that perfect and light summery feel. Oh by the way, that´s a bamboo bangle on the far right of the picture and that one in the middle is made from the vine of the old trees in my home country. My Mama loved it, she asked me to buy her one too. Now we´re twinsies. :)
