Mixing Prints(Dots and Stripes)

Today, I decided to debut my obi belt.  I had a hard time perfecting the bow at the front and so I just twirled it around the lazy way. hahaha! An obi belt can really do wonder to an outfit (Suddenly, I have a waist!) and can be the perfect accent too. Now, why didn´t I think of that before?

Just in case you´re wundrin´, yep, the front of my pleated skirt is uneven, a factory defect and that´s why it was on sale. Nevertheless, I snapped it up because I  kinda love this asymmetrical style  that is quite different from all the asymmetrical skirts out there. Who knows, this could be the next trend this season. Uneven front, anyone? ;)

I opted to wear  a pair of champagne colored pearls for my ears and a multi-colored strand on my neck for that classic look:

Then a small black and white purse which I didn´t know that I had(since summer of 2011!) when I was looking for  the dotted skirt. :)

Oh well, so this is it, the dotted and stripes combo tied together by my first obi belt. I´m linking up with Marion´s Trend of the Month Challenge (my first time!). Go and check out what the other bloggers are wearing! :)

Your pictures are so pretty! I really like everything about this outfit (even the uneven hem that I would never have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out!) Stripes and polka dots were just meant to go together.
