Flyday Fridays: Spanish Omelette
It´s another Friday again, my friends!
So how did your week go? This posts´s gonna be quick because we´re on a road trip right now in the western part of Spain hoping not to get lost along the way, hahaha!. Anyway, last Saturday, the chefs in my city headed by Chef Senen González took up the challenge to make biggest Spanish Tortilla(omelette) in the world and make it to the Guiness World Record. While waiting for the actual coooking to start we sat on a bench. Here´s what I wore:
About two hours later, here´s the final product: a HUGE Spanish tortilla which weights 1.5 metric tons and whose diameter is 5 meters and 20 centimeters. The great news is my city and it´s dedicated chefs made it to the Guiness World Record´s biggest Spanish Tortilla(Omelette) in the world! :)
We fell in line for the taste test and we´re given a sizable portion for tasting. Althoguh this is what you call as the classic tortilla with basic ingredients( eggs, homegrown potatoes from the Alava province--> you gotta use your own!, olive oil and salt), it tasted really good! I usually add onions and/or chorizos when I make my own Spanish tortilla at home. ;)
So there goes my Flyday Friday post for today. As for what I wore, it´s nothing special, just an old pair of jeans, a V-neck black top and pair of leopard flats and mix printing the shoes with a plaid fedora hat, lol!
So what´s your story this week?
Kisses!
