WIWW: B/W Stripes and Red( part 2)

Happy Wednesday, peeps!

I can´t resist a chic black and white combination especially if with stripes. My default top is always this loose top with a long neck (which I DYIed by cutting it)and pair it with either black or white.

Since it´s summer, I wore a white jacquard skirt with it and finished off with a beautifully structured clutch from the last winter sales which cost me less than 10 euros. Great deal on the clutch, huh! ;)

I´m posing below a stone canopy of  an artificial dolmen built near an ancient sanctuary in the mountains. I love this place because it´s so peaceful and photogenic too. ;)

It´s fiesta week in the city where I live and so my summer´s been busy so far. People watching and street dancing in the afternoons, fireworks watching in the evenings and non-stop eating in-between. Life is good!

Love your outfit, as always ... you're kind of a role model for me because I admire your choices ( of course, I have to adopt them to my advanced age sometimes!) and like your thinking!
Pretty white skirt! And here's another lesson on how cool a striped top looks with practically anything!
And I always want to see which clutch you are carrying! LOVE this one.

Oh what an adorable ensemble. I love it. I love how you take simple and punch it up with a bold color item or two. I loved the thing about oysters. I have never had them, can't bring myself them but I have heard they are wonderful. Maybe some day, but for sure not during chemo. The object of chemo is to not barf! lol ♥

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
