Flyday Fridays: A Little of Murcia
Hola, holaaa!
How´s the 1st week of 2014? ;)
Today, I´m taking you to Murcia in the southeastern part of Spain. I didn´t get a take a lot of photos but I was able to get a photo of the cathedral. This bustling and touristy city was founded in 825 AD by an emir of Cordoba in the south of Spain.
The city has a subtropical semi-arid climate which has a mild winter and a quite hot summer. So on the day that we went there, I thought of wearing first a short-sleeved knitted floral top, thick tights and a skirt.
Early mornings are quite chilly, I covered up with a cardigan, finished off with a denim jacket and wore a scarf for my sensitive throat. I also debuted my small leather bag. With it´s classic color and style, this could match a lot of future outifts and could last me a long time because it´s well made. :)
Going back to the cathedral, it has this beautifully structured tower which was completed in 1792. The first two stories were built in Renaissance style while the third is Baroque.
Patisseries(pastelerias in Spanish) are found on almost every street especially in the old quarters and look what I got, yummy cookies and macarons too!
Leaving you with a photo of a sculptured wooden ¨belen¨ in the background.
Enjoy the first weekend of 2014, everyone! :)
Kisses,
Che
