Anything Goes Monday: Another Liebster Award

Happy Monday, all!

Second, I´m starting the week with another Liebster Award from Kendra Genevieve Rose. Thanks, Kendra although I can´t find the link to your blog!

 1. What is your guilty pleasure favourite TV show? HOMELAND. I love Carrie and Nicholas´ trust and distrust kind of relationship. It must be really hard sleeping with your so called ¨enemy¨ and yep, I don´t care if  I´m watching it in Spanish and not hearing Damian and Claire´s actual voices when they speak. ;)

2. If you could only wear one colour for the rest of your life, what would the colour be? Black - it´s slimming and because I´m bloated most of the time, lol!

3. What is one song on your iPod your friends would be surprised you have? I don´t have an iPod(surprise, surprise!) but in my phone I have Vivaldi´s four seasons and I´m more of a pop song kind of girl!

4. What's your one staple piece this autumn? This pair of silver loafers which I plan on wearing to death. It´s soooo comfy.

5. What is your favourite thing and least favourite thing about blogging? My favorite would be reading the comments section even if I see comments like: ¨Follow me and I´ll also follow you¨ (hehehe) and my least favorite would be composing a post, words just escape me when I start to write and so most of the time, I just make up with lots of photos, hahaha!

6. What is your go-to makeup product? Lipstick. I rarely go out without wearing one. I could go barefaced but never with bare lips. ;)

7. Where is one place in the world you have to visit before you die? I´ve said this over and over again and I´ll say it once more, Egypt especially the pyramids and the valley of the kings. No more, no less.

8. What is your favourite Starbucks drink? I find a Starbucks drink too sweet for my tastebuds nowadays. Can I just say tea without sugar? Chamomile or green will do. ;)


9. Which celebrity do most people say you look like? I don´t know, hahaha!

10. If you could meet one blogger, who would it be? Garance Doré. She´s the one!

That's interesting that you think Starbucks is too sweet. Not a lot of people have your taste buds! My husband is like you in that way. We've actually cut out sugar in our lives for years now, so everything that is somewhat sweet is REALLY sweet for us (especially him, because he's more sensitive to sugar). Do you eat dessert or sugar?

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
