Flyday Fridays: A Coruña
Hi, all!
Continuing on with my Galician travel posts, our 3rd day was spent at A Coruña, the second bustling city of the Galician region. This is my 3rd time on this city and so we let go of the usual touristy spots except for the beach:
and the municipal hall which I always find impressive.
The real reason why I always include this city in our itinerary is because of the mariscada which is quite famous in here. Almost all of the restaurants which lead to the city hall offer a finger licking( no pun intended) menu of grilled/steamed assorted seafood in a platter. Lunch and even dinner here is always a feast. FYI, mariscadas are also being served on most regions especially on the coastal areas of Spain. Don´t forget to ask a bottle of Albariño wine to accompany your lunch/dinner. Your seafood deserves the best wine, of course. ;)
Dessert was this especially made ice cream cake topped with chopped almonds and caramel shavings. Yum!
After the heavy lunch and an overfilled belly, we tried losing calories by taking a walk around the city hall. As for what I wore, I chose something light because it´s so hot and a short skirt in military green. As usual, I´m chanelling matchy-matchy, hence, the jewelry and bags too. lol!
If you´re interested in what I wore the last time that I came here, click here. I was also wearing a Longchamp bag but in a different color. hahaha!
Summer´s about to end, I hope you´re making the most of the warm weather. Since today´s a Friday, I´m linking up with Style Elixir´s Friday´s Fab Favorites, Lena B and Rachel´s Passion for Fashion and Penniless Socialite´s Favorite Fashion Friday. Come and link your post too!
Un buen finde a todos/as! :)
Besitos,
