Monday Remix: Cheetah and Sienna

I only have indoor photos for you and yes, my outfit blends with my kitchen door´s frame today, lol!  Anyway, I plan to reserve this color palette for autumn but hey, fashion is about experimenting not just looks and trends but also colors and besides it matches with my wedges. So why not give this look a try for spring and then later for summer maybe? ;)

Pardon the pasty face, no blusher going on in there just a slash of red lipstick. The weather´s been cooperating in our side of the world lately although it still gets chilly in the morning and when after the sun sets. So this is my uniform nowadays, a light sweater whcih I can roll up when it gets warm and a skirt to put some color on my legs. The open toe sandals are making a comeback too and love that I can wiggle my toes in the open air!

I´ve had this burnt sienna colored sweater for a long time although it doesn´t usually appear in my outfit posts and as for the cheetah printed skirt, I first wore it last winter:

That top pairs so nicely with the printed skirt! :) Lovely outfit :) I think you can wear browns in any weather too - spring or summer, it's a great neutral! :)

Very springy, I think ... it's the attitude and fabric weight, I think, and I thought off-season fabrics are a "thing" this spring, aren't they? I love it that you know it's sienna, and not just rust, or brown!

That's the great thing about skirts. You can usually wear them in Winter and Summer. I am a massive fan of leopard print although I don't think I've seen it in a skater skirt before. (Stylish Tuesday)

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur.
