Raspberry Bag

Haloooo!

Looks like the royal wedding fever hasn´t died down yet because almost everyone in the blogosphere is still commenting on it for more than a week now. As usual, there were hits and misses in the what-I-wore portion just like any wedding celebration and so what´s new? Why don´t we just leave  Princess B´s hat ( I think it would´ve worked if  it was a bit smaller and she didn´t have kohl rimmed eyes) and concentrate on the double kiss instead. The kisses were so romantic, no? ;)

So anyway, back to reality. The hubz had a yearly reunion with some acquaintances at some place in here and on the way home, we stopped by this town called Estella and had lunch in there. I finally got to wear my raspberry flappy bag, a pair of old jeans (worn more than a thousand times) and a very light top because the day was oh so scorchingly hot!


This is my favorite building of the town. An old train station which they conserved well.

And I got to wear flowers too. hehe!

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur....

Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light.
