WIWW: Wine Season

Hola, holaaa!

Wasn´t it just the other day that I was commenting about transitional pieces to wear here in the blog? Suddenly, we´re aready in the middle of the week. How time flies! Anyway, here´s what I wore last weekend while visiting the neighboring city of Logroño, the capital of La Rioja region:

The original plan was to take some photos of the tradional ¨pisado de uvas¨ or grape treading to start the annual harvest for 2016 but the plan bombed because we got lost looking for a place to park and when we arrived at the palza, the place was jampacked already. So we headed back to one of the famous wineries instead and took some photos.

This awesome corrugated structure is called Bodegas Ysios, a fine artwork and winery designed by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. It´s located in the town of Laguardia in the La Rioja- Alavesa region of Spain. I had the chance to visit this winery which included wine tasting by the way late autumn of last year but wasn´t able to blog about it because student life ate a big chunk of my blogger life back then, hehe. I hope to tell you about it soon. ;)

Since it was an unusually warm day for a September , I only wore a light knitted top with jeans and flats.

top- COS, jeans- Zara, bag- Bimba & Lola, flats- LK Bennett
And yep, you know that it´s wine season here because you´ll see lots of small trailer trucks filled with freshly harvested grapes on the road these days. :)
