Dressing Up For Me

Good morning! So spring´s finally here, yey ! I thought that it would never come because just three days ago we´re having snow. See that white foamy patch near my left foot in the picture below? That´s what´s left of winter, hihi. :) Anyway, here´s what I wore last weekend while visiting MIL, just the good ole basics ( wet hair included) of a mottled/ tie dyed printed ripped jeans, a linen buttondown, a pewter colored faux leather jacket  and not an ounce of jewelry because we´re in hurry. I wonder if it´s time to do a little spring cleaning this week, the weather´s been really great although when you live in a city where it´s sunny today and then it´s winter tomorrow, you´d never know what to keep in your closet, lol! We´re having the annual Holy Week holidays this week and I´m so excited because we´re travelling to the eastern part of Spain in Catalonia. Good morning, dears ! Here´s something light and breezy to usher in spring 2015 which is SO not happening today because it´s snowing in my side of town. Booo! Anyway, these are pics from early autumn of last year which I wasn´t able to post because my real life became busier, hehehe. A pair of white rolled up pants and light checks in lavender and gray would be the perfect look to usher in spring, no ? I only wore this white ¨boyfriend¨ jeans twice last year  ( I know, I´m really bad at remixing) but this year, you´re going to see a LOT of this classic colored pair especially that my dressing mantra these days is the minimalist look . Good morning, dahlings ! I have a soft spot for denim shirt dresses because it reflects my dressing philosophy in life nowadays which is laid back and no fuss aka ¨lazy dressing¨, lol! So if I would have to wear a dress everyday, it should only be denim, right? ;) We had the sun up for almost two weeks and so I was able to wear this shirt dress with a light jacket but then, reality sunk in again and right now we´re back to winter mode. Hello all! Is my blogging posting groove back on? ;) After almost half a year of sporadic posting, I finally got to take some more outfit pics to show you today. Oh well, it isn´t much but at least  I got to post some, hahaha! Here´s my take on dressing up in-between seasons: top and clutch( AW 2013), skirt- Stradivarius And by that, I mean winter and ... spring which is just a few days away.Yey! To be honest, I´m kinda fed up of wearing bulky winter sweaters and so wearing something with a light texture and color´s like a ¨a breath of fresh air¨on my winter wardrobe costume. Of course, it still has to cover my neck and I have to wear tights because it´s still a wee bit cold and windy in here and hey, we´re still in winter mode technically! sweater(old), clutch ( old)-Zara, skirt- Stradivarius, shoes- Janilyn( Philippine brand) So what about you? The other day, I wore an old favorite. My first peacoat, the first coat that I bought here in Spain since arriving from my little tropcal country seven years ago. Surprisingly, it held up really well after wearing it every winter. :) Inside, I wore a leopard printed skirt and denim vest in gold to celebrate a rare sunny day which we had the other day. I don´t know about you in there but in the last two months of winter, we´re having only bad weather. That´s why you can´t find any street photos of me in the blog ( aside from being busy with school) because it´s either snowing or raining a lot outside.
