Mixed Prints and an Award

Halooo!

It´s still a very sunny Wednesday here. Looks like summer isn´t going anywhere soon. ;)

top- Mango (summer sales 2010)

I know that I´m quite behind the mix prints trend but since I don´t always follow the trends, I´m sharing with you my version just now. Better late than never, no?


They say that one of the best ways to rock this trend is to use the same color combination. So I came up with an olive green/brown see-thru top which I´ve already worn here and a pair of floral capri pants. Et voila! So wat d´yah tenk? :)

I think that pair of clogs helped too! I promised not buy anymore shoes, moreso clogs but at 50% off  my self-restraint broke. hahaha! I know, I´m not the only one who does this when it comes to shoes.Like what they always say, a girl can never have too many shoes. ;)

The problem right now is how to break this pair for a longer time. Just after 15 mins. of wearing this thing made my feet feel like it´s being molded in steel. Then I had a serious case of vertigo and lots of wobble walk. That my darlings isn´t so fashionista. hahaha!

Congrats! I saw that on her blog :) She is very... Sweet. lol. I like the shoes a lot! I would've bought them, too! I have way too many, and I don't have a place to store them anymore :( We have such a little house. Mixing prints is a great trick!

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur.
