Dressing Up For Me

Hello, hellooo! Today, I´ll be talking about some of my favorite clutches and/or pouches. They´re cute, handy and light to ¨lug¨ around, don´t you think so? ;) I just make sure to put them on my lap when I sit on the table because I usually tend to forget things which don ´t  come with a sling or a handle, hahaha! For those who may ask, I don´t really know the exact difference between a clutch bag or a pouch bag but what I do know is that all of these are small bags  without a handle or a sling which are carried by the hand and which can be ¨clutched¨ / placed under your arms, okies ? ;) Anyway, here are some of my favorites which you see most often in the blog. I´m a clutch collector and these are just part of what I have in my closet. 1. Leather Clutch This is my go-to clutch when going out for some drinks with the hub z or with my girlfriends. Good morning, blogger friends! Here´s something very casual and summery getup for today: a pair of  denim cut-offs, cream colored flowy top and open-toed flat sandals to complete the ensemble. Summer´s officialy here, finally! :) I love accessories especially jewelry but I don´t know why I always forget to photograph them, must be because I´m getting old, hahaha! Hellooo! I thought that the warm weather would go on and on but just a day after taking these pics, the temperature went down 10 degrees and we´re back to having those dreary and cold days again. It´s a good thing that I got to wear this light knitted dress again before the clouds turned into gray again because I only get to wear this every two years, lol! I rarely put on this nude number because it´s a bit sheer and I had to wear a slip underneath and I always look so bloated, hahaha! But it´s soft, breezy and comfy and so why complain about it? Oh, hi there(again)! I´ve missed all of you, have you missed me too? ;) I got a free day off from my hectic ¨school schedule¨ and what way to spend it wisely but snap some photos even on a very wet day. I would´ve love it if it´s snow that´s falling but it´s nothitng but rain, rain, rain. Anyway, as I´ve been telling you in my last post, I wear nothing but pants and sweater these days and so the other day when I decided to wear a skirt, I just had to take some photos of  the outfit. So here it is, gray on a gray day but at least I get to pair it with teal, one my favorite autumn-winter colors and my jewel necklace for extra color. Holaaaa! Oh well, it looks like autumn came on time because we´re having cooler weather this week to as low as 9ºC at night time. We still have sun but the air gets colder every time especially in the early morning. I´m not complaining though because finally I can wear my long sleeved knits and can layer as much as I can. I´m wearing yellow today to celebrate the fantastic summer that we had. It was really good while it lasted! :) I´ve already worn the blue necklace, brown leather clutch and yellow flats a lot of times here in the blog save for the floral skirt which I´ve worn only once in one of my WIWW posts and so this outfit might look similar to you. This is what I usually do when I create a new look, I mix old and new to create something new. Hello, hello! Continuing on with my bright color phase, I present this purple and cream combination taken lots of weeks ago in one of the parks here. Whenever we have sunny days like this particular day, we usually stop by any of the parks around here and munch on my homemade sandwiches called as ¨bocadillos¨   here in Spain. It´s the kind where a baguette bread is sliced lengthwise and  stuffed with any of these: pan grilled chicken or beef with pimientos or jamon serrano and cheese or with assorted Spanish chorizos which makes it a worthy dinner fare coupled with a salad or fruit or even wine. I´m sure your drooling right now, hahaha. My version  is usually tuna, sliced eggs, lettuce, tomatoes with or without white asparagus, yummy and healthy! :) Back to what I wore, I´m into layering dainty necklaces lately. Hola, hola! :) I think I´m in love with the yellow-silver-gray color palette these days. Just look at my WIWW post last week , it almost has the same color palette as what I´m posting today! You see, I dress up in phases. I have a blue, red or whatever color or color palette phase, a bag phase, a shoe phase and even a jewelry phase, lol! Do you dress up in phases too? ;) Anyway, I´ve already debuted this two-tone necklace in the blog but you didn´t get to see it up close. So here it is, so pretty, no? Just a short post for you today with this simple travelling outfit: If there´s any redeeming piece in this wrinkled top and blue jeans getup, it must be this leopard necklace, don´t you think? ;) And I just had to show you my silver and gold bangle bought from my trip in Toledo, Spain last year. You must VISIT the jewelry stores in Toledo, they´re well- made and very affordable too!
