That Crumpled Top

Nothing much to tell you except that I had a very exciting afternoon talking non-stop with my friend H who spent her vacation in Lebanon. She´s a doll, literally! Very pretty, very smart and with a pleasing personality to boot too. Who doesn´t want a friend like that? ;) If only I can post a photo of her here but I think she wouldn´t allow it because she´s a very private person unlike me. hahaha! She also gave me a special gift from Lebanon which I´ll be sharing with you soon. :)

So how did your day go, my dahlings? I hope it went well.;)

PS: Sorry for the crumpled top. I took this picture after 5 hours of tête á tète. I´m even surprised that it survived that long and I didn´t spill anything on it. heheeh!

(sighhhhh) i miss my friends in Stockholm that is the only draw back of moving more than 300 kms away from my friends... it's very seldom i meet them. Am glad you had a fun time with your doll friend.

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light. Flyday Fridays: Paris (part 1)

The first time I went to Paris was in early spring. It was raining and gloomy but that didn´t stop me from falling in love with this romantic city. Here are some things to do and places to visit when you´re in Pa-gheee . ;) 1, 2, 3: Get lost inside le Louvre,  pass by   Mona Lisa´s room and get mesmerized by her coy smile and if you like ancient jewelry, be enthralled by the museum´s jewelry collection. Even the bishop´s crozier is bejeweled! 4: Admire the Sainte Chapelle´s amazing ceiling, structure and colorful stained glass windows. 5,6: Fall in line (entrance is free!) and admire the sculpture and stained windows of the Notre Dame. By this time you´re very tired and so take a rest at the park/garden at the back of the church. Later you can cross the small bridge and have your lunch at one of the numerous creperies and restaurants in the small island. 7,8: After a light lunch, take the metro and go to Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur.
