Neckpieces ( Treasures from the Louvre 2)

This is the necklace portion of the ¨series¨  Treasures from the Louvre. Which of these do you like? ;)

The chain design with the wheel clasp is as ancient as I thought it should be:


These small  ¨pendants¨ look like Grecian coloumns/pillars:


This one looks like lots of orange/pomelo pulp were intricately strung on the chain. Okay, so I ran out of ideas here. hehe!


Leaves of gold:


A pendant of pearls and  precious stones and jade? beads strung together in gold:


The last one´s my favorite. Christmas stockings should be as colorful as these, don´t you think? ;)


And this very last one is mine bought at some store around here about 2 years ago. ;)


They´re all nice, no? I´d love to wear each of this piece wearing a LBD. Would be perfect for an elegant Christmas Eve outfit.

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light. Nautical and Taupe

Hello, I´m still here! I know it´s been four days since my last post. ;) Real life´s been hectic lately and so I had to let go of  my blog life for a couple of days to attend to some urgent personal  matters. Anywa yz ,I´m back and wearing stripes! Since stripes looks good with sea, I´m sharing two photo snippets of Biarritz´s beaches in between my outfit photos. While almost everyone usually pair blue stripes with red or white I went for something different like taupe. Taupe is my new gray and I´m loving it! You should try it too. :) So why beach photos of Biarritz? It has one of the best beaches on this side of the world, it´s in France ( in the south actually)  and the place is chic ¨super magnified¨ !  As to my outfit, I´m finishing the look with a blush colored leather jacket and then I´m off for my afternoon walk later.
