Monday Remix: An Eyelet and a Midi

Hi, there!!!!

So I´ve been gone again but this time with a good reason, my travel partner and I took our first summer vacay on the southeastern part of Spain. Will tell you about it once I get the pics up.

Anyway, are midis still in? I´ve been wearing this non-stop.While everybody´s in mini and shortie shorts, I´m getting a lot of wear with this midi denim skirt. It´s just so comfy and breezy and most importantly, I don´t have to be conscious of my knickers butt showing when I stoop down to get something on the floor. Ge my drift?

As for this neverending summer heat, I pair the skirt with an eyelet top. We need lots of ventilation, darlings to survive the sizzling temperature nowadays!

I first wore the eyelet top as part of an all-white ensemble. It loos so fresh, isn´t it? ;)

I am a big fan of the midi skirt! It's my favorite length of skirt to be quite honest. I love your eyelet top! It looks fantastic with both the denim and white skirts.

Oh, this top is very pretty and so versatile! I have been really drawn to eyelet lately. I certainly think midi skirts are still in.

Hi, y´all! So here I am again, posing in front of my kitchen door. Nautical and Taupe

Hello, I´m still here! I know it´s been four days since my last post. ;) Real life´s been hectic lately and so I had to let go of  my blog life for a couple of days to attend to some urgent personal  matters. Anywa yz ,I´m back and wearing stripes! Since stripes looks good with sea, I´m sharing two photo snippets of Biarritz´s beaches in between my outfit photos. While almost everyone usually pair blue stripes with red or white I went for something different like taupe. Taupe is my new gray and I´m loving it! You should try it too. :) So why beach photos of Biarritz? It has one of the best beaches on this side of the world, it´s in France ( in the south actually)  and the place is chic ¨super magnified¨ !  As to my outfit, I´m finishing the look with a blush colored leather jacket and then I´m off for my afternoon walk later. Cheesecake, anyone?

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. I´m going to hide my face for now. ;) Do you have a wgi (weight gain indicator and I made this up)  in your body? I do and it´s my face (aside from the muffin top). hehe!;) earrings - bazaar (Phils.) I love shirt dresses. They´re loose and they basically hide anything that you wanted to hide. Know what I mean? ;) One bad thing about this particular dress shirt though is the fit. It´s too loose, a bit short and it doesn´t look good with my mini ... and so a lot of rolling and folding was done to achieve the  laid back look that I wanted to create . That´s me rolling and folding below. ;) I´m just kidding about hiding my face. Here it is... and yes, my face is so healthy, no? :) Say hello to the weight gain culprit ! My guilt...
