Monday Remix: Summer Colors

Holaaa!

Here´s another jean and top combo which I´m sharing with you today. Although my go-to colors for summer are usually white and  anything light, once in a while I reach out for something bold and vivid in my closet like this two-year old Sandro top that I´m wearing. I collect Sandro pieces especially their tops because they´re one of a kind.

This blue clutch was an old sale find from Mango ago few years ago. I stopped buying clutches when I went back to school two years ago which is okay beacsue I´ve amassed quite  a number already and besides I got hooked on crossbody bags which are much more in synch with my lifestyle. Although I love clutches and still use them, I prefer crossbody bags because of their hands-free ¨feature¨ when you need to grab something with your hands. Get my drift? ;)

I first wore this top on a trip to the Palace of Aranjuez in Madrid. You can´t find the palace in the city of  Madrid, you need to take the train to go to Aranjuez. You can read about my trip here.

Hi, y´all! So here I am again, posing in front of my kitchen door. Nautical and Taupe

Hello, I´m still here! I know it´s been four days since my last post. ;) Real life´s been hectic lately and so I had to let go of  my blog life for a couple of days to attend to some urgent personal  matters. Anywa yz ,I´m back and wearing stripes! Since stripes looks good with sea, I´m sharing two photo snippets of Biarritz´s beaches in between my outfit photos. While almost everyone usually pair blue stripes with red or white I went for something different like taupe. Taupe is my new gray and I´m loving it! You should try it too. :) So why beach photos of Biarritz? It has one of the best beaches on this side of the world, it´s in France ( in the south actually)  and the place is chic ¨super magnified¨ !  As to my outfit, I´m finishing the look with a blush colored leather jacket and then I´m off for my afternoon walk later. Cheesecake, anyone?

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. I´m going to hide my face for now. ;) Do you have a wgi (weight gain indicator and I made this up)  in your body? I do and it´s my face (aside from the muffin top). hehe!;) earrings - bazaar (Phils.) I love shirt dresses. They´re loose and they basically hide anything that you wanted to hide. Know what I mean? ;) One bad thing about this particular dress shirt though is the fit. It´s too loose, a bit short and it doesn´t look good with my mini ... and so a lot of rolling and folding was done to achieve the  laid back look that I wanted to create . That´s me rolling and folding below. ;) I´m just kidding about hiding my face. Here it is... and yes, my face is so healthy, no? :) Say hello to the weight gain culprit ! My guilt...
