WIWW: All Blue (and a touch of yellow)

Wearing all blue with a touch of yellow from the clutch for a ray of sunshine. It´s hard to ask for some sun when it´s been raininng non-stop since Monday. I wore this last Sunday, a miraculously no-rain day despite the heavy and non-stopping downpour which happened on Saturday night which almost ruined the carnival parade.

The temperature wasn´t that blistery cold though so I still got to wear a denim jacket( although thicker) over three layers: light shirt, cotton button down and a V-neck vest. Pale/pastel blue is trending nowadays so I made use of the old light blue vest that I had.

Anyway, how are things on yur side of the pond? I hope the weather´s cooperating.

Today, I woke up with a sore throat, sneezes. and stuffy nose. I hope this is just temporary. The hubz and I have been dodging Mr. Colds for almost a year now after celebrating Christmas 2012 and New Year 2013 with red noses, watery eyes( you know the deal!) and walking like zombies but I don´t think we can dodge it this time, hahaha!

You look great in all Blue. I saw similar pants to these (for very cheap - just for me) the other day. Maybe I should buy them and copy you. I even have Navy Boots. You look great. That color-blocked clutch is beautiful and definitely stands out.

Hi, y´all! So here I am again, posing in front of my kitchen door. Nautical and Taupe

Hello, I´m still here! I know it´s been four days since my last post. ;) Real life´s been hectic lately and so I had to let go of  my blog life for a couple of days to attend to some urgent personal  matters. Anywa yz ,I´m back and wearing stripes! Since stripes looks good with sea, I´m sharing two photo snippets of Biarritz´s beaches in between my outfit photos. While almost everyone usually pair blue stripes with red or white I went for something different like taupe. Taupe is my new gray and I´m loving it! You should try it too. :) So why beach photos of Biarritz? It has one of the best beaches on this side of the world, it´s in France ( in the south actually)  and the place is chic ¨super magnified¨ !  As to my outfit, I´m finishing the look with a blush colored leather jacket and then I´m off for my afternoon walk later. Cheesecake, anyone?

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. I´m going to hide my face for now. ;) Do you have a wgi (weight gain indicator and I made this up)  in your body? I do and it´s my face (aside from the muffin top). hehe!;) earrings - bazaar (Phils.) I love shirt dresses. They´re loose and they basically hide anything that you wanted to hide. Know what I mean? ;) One bad thing about this particular dress shirt though is the fit. It´s too loose, a bit short and it doesn´t look good with my mini ... and so a lot of rolling and folding was done to achieve the  laid back look that I wanted to create . That´s me rolling and folding below. ;) I´m just kidding about hiding my face. Here it is... and yes, my face is so healthy, no? :) Say hello to the weight gain culprit ! My guilt...
