Leather and Sparkles

Eversince leather skirts got hotter aeons ago, I was on an unending quest for the perfect piece. By that, I mean body hugging but not too tight and it has to have a flattering style. Et voila! ;)



The gold belt and sparkly clutch were a lucky find in Pimkie. I´m not a Pimkie fan, in fact these were my 1st purchases. I just happen to find myself inside the store one afternoon while waiting for the rain to stop.This clutch was close to anything sequiny that I dare buying. Although I love sparkly things, I´m not really sold into sequins.


The best part is, everything was bought on sale from the waist down and so yeah, my wallet gave in despite zipping it closed 2 weeks ago. Sales are terribly irresistible, no? ;)

gold belt and clutch- Pimkie

So how have you been? Are you ready for another night of eating and marathon drinking? Gotta get those bubbly drinks and sparklers ready. For those who love firecrackers, be careful. New Year´s Eve should be a lot of fun and not with a lot of pain.

I love this outfit! I like the skirt and the gold tones! You seem very ready for the New Year. I'm going to do something sparkly too and not in polka dots for New Year's Eve. I don't any outfit with sequins I think, but I do have a purse fully covered in gold sequins. I will have to pair it with my gold sparkly outfit for the New Year. Haha... you just gave me an idea!! Thanks :P You'll know the purse idea was from you when you see my next outfit post.

shirt dress converted to top - Zara ( from the sales last year) Lately, I´ve discovered that the extra pounds that I´ve unconsciously piled over the past years have finally settled comfortably on my face. Skirting the Issue

Halooo! So how´s your weekend? ;) Mine was spent visiting the new flat ( we just had the new sofa delivered, yey!) and last Saturday we went to this mini-food fair where they sell lots of goodies. I tasted some chorizos, jamon serrano, and a glass of white wine too. Too bad I forgot to take the camera so no photos to show you but we brought home some sweets which unfortunately we also gobbled up during the weekend. hihihi! At least I´ve spared you from breaking your diets this summer. ;) Truth be told, I don´t look good wearing high waisted skirts because I have wide hips ( I´m good at hiding them here ;) . Maybe I could pull off wearing them 10 yrs. ago when I still have a slimmer silhouette, er, smaller waistine and hips and a flatter middle but now everything especially my hips are expanding faster like the speed of light. Nautical and Taupe

Hello, I´m still here! I know it´s been four days since my last post. ;) Real life´s been hectic lately and so I had to let go of  my blog life for a couple of days to attend to some urgent personal  matters. Anywa yz ,I´m back and wearing stripes! Since stripes looks good with sea, I´m sharing two photo snippets of Biarritz´s beaches in between my outfit photos. While almost everyone usually pair blue stripes with red or white I went for something different like taupe. Taupe is my new gray and I´m loving it! You should try it too. :) So why beach photos of Biarritz? It has one of the best beaches on this side of the world, it´s in France ( in the south actually)  and the place is chic ¨super magnified¨ !  As to my outfit, I´m finishing the look with a blush colored leather jacket and then I´m off for my afternoon walk later.
