Monday Remix: Denim Cut-offs and Cream

Image
Good morning, blogger friends! Here´s something very casual and summery getup for today: a pair of  denim cut-offs, cream colored flowy top and open-toed flat sandals to complete the ensemble. Summer´s officialy here, finally! :) I love accessories especially jewelry but I don´t know why I always forget to photograph them, must be because I´m getting old, hahaha! For this very casual look, I decided wear this love necklace which I bought for sale at Suite Blanco years ago. This is one of my go-to necklacse when I feel like wearing dainty jewelry. It´s quite light! top - Zara, denim cut-offs - Pull&Bear, sandals - Pimkie, bag(very old )- Massimo Dutti Here are some ways that I´ve worn these denim cut-offs: Happy Monday! Hugs, Che

Flyday Fridays: Hush Blush

Image
It´s a Friday, my luvs ! I´m sharing some what-I-wore photos from my Holy Week vacation in Catalonia three months ago. I know, old pics, hahaha! Spring has just started during this time and so I was wearing a light colored sweater and my favorite flat boots for walking. We stopped by the historic and beautiful Poblet Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site but didn´t get to see what´s inside the monastery (only the church which is quite simple) because we were pressed for time. If you like old churches/monasteries, I recommend this place. They offer guided tours too. top , jeans and bag - Zara Any plans for the weekend? Have fun! Hugs, Che

WIWW: Nude and Mocha

Image
Hellooo! I thought that the warm weather would go on and on but just a day after taking these pics, the temperature went down 10 degrees and we´re back to having those dreary and cold days again. It´s a good thing that I got to wear this light knitted dress again before the clouds turned into gray again because I only get to wear this every two years, lol! I rarely put on this nude number because it´s a bit sheer and I had to wear a slip underneath and I always look so bloated, hahaha! But it´s soft, breezy and comfy and so why complain about it? Just pair it with the right accessories and you´re good to go. dress(old) - Zara, necklace(old) - Stradivarius,, sandals -Primark As for my bag, I broke in the hubby´s birthday gift from three months ago. While other girls can´t wait to wear their gifts/ new purchases, I´m the type who waits for the right time to wear them even if it will take months to do so. So here I am with this mocha colored bag in saffiano leather which is ...

Monday Remix: White and Gray

Image
Good morning, all! I´ve been wearing this white boyfriend jeans non-stop nowadays. Here´s another very casual combination which I wore the other month when we went museum hunting in Barcelona, with a lightweight gray sweater and silver loafers: Although white jeans are very easy to pair with anything, it can be a pain to maintain it pristine white the whole day. Case point, after visiting the Joan Miró Museum, a kid accidentally touched my lower right leg while trying to sit down on the bus seat leaving a very nice curved dirty smiley and  just when I thought that everything´s going to be fine after that, a girl on a bike accidentally bumped me on the back leaving a perfect tire imprint on the back of my right leg while the hubz and I were walking along the  Passeig de Gracia. So the day ended with a smiley on my left leg and a tire print on my right leg, hahaha! So what´s the lesson learned? Never wear white especially jeans when traveling in crowded places, hahaha...

Monday Remix: Gingham and Vermilion

Image
Hellooo! Technically it´s still spring but it looks so much like summer in this part of the world for two weeks now. How about you in your side of the world? :) Anyway, today´s outfit is a remix of things that I´ve worn last year. After doing a thorough closet spring cleaning the other day, I´ve noticed that I have a lot of tops and skirts that are waiting to be mixed and matched and so here´s one of them: Vermilion( red orange) is my go to color when I´m stuck with black and white gingham print aside form yellow, black and white. I´m safe like that, hahaha! As usual, I´m matchy-matchy with this look and pardon for the lack of an accent bling. I wore this outfit when we went down to have a late lunch at our fave restaurant just around the corner. As usual, I was in my pajamas when we decided to eat out and so I just changed the pjs for the skirt, added on some flats and a crossbody bag and voila! :) top, skirt, flats - Zara, bag - Massimo Dutti I wore the hanging...

WIWW: Minimalist in Red

Image
Hellooooo! Just a simple minimalist look for this very sunny Wednesday. ;) The truth is, I dress like this almost everyday except for that heavy necklace which I don´t get to wear  often. But a flowy top + jeans + flats + clutch/tote bag/ crossbody bag? That´s basic, right? Why complicate things when the combination works for you! Well, that´s just me, and YOU? top and clutch(old ) - Massimo Dutti, necklace(old ),  jeans(old) - Zara, flats - Bimba&Lola Happy mid-week! Hugs!
