Dressing Up For Me

Good morning, luvs! School´s finally done for the year and I´m happy to say that I passed all of the exams too! I consider this as a great achievement on my part because I took the whole course in Spanish ( I didn´t have a choice with the language, hahaha!) . The last time that I went to school was to take my degree in the university and pass the license exams which was more than 20 years ago. So just imagine the tremendous pressure that I was going through the whole year. Anyway, since I´m on a summer break, I can finally go back to one of my favorite pastime, blogging. :) Here´s a short travel post on my trip to the Codorniu Cava Winery in April. Good morning, everyone! So I´ve been gone a really, really long time. My school ordeal´s almost over, just one more week and I can blog as much as I can, promise! ;) Remember when I told you that I´m going to make a lot of wear of this white pair of jeans? Well, here´s the first combo: When we took these photos, it was quite chilly albeit very sunny and so I was wore a boucle jacket (which I bought from the sales years ago) with my mint green sweater and jeans. Helloooo! I´ve been posting a lot of jeans/pants combos in the blog lately (student life´s turned me into a boring dresser,hahaha! ) and so I put on a skirt and an old trusty chambray top for a change. I´m still mixing and matching old pieces from my closet although the mid-season sales are so tempting, even Zara´s having one right now. I don´t know how long I can resist not shelling out a few euros because when I´m stressed out I sale shop, heheh. Leaving you with a blooper shot that the hubz took at the beginning of the shoot. I was laughing very hard because the neighbor´s dog wouldn´t go away and wanted to photobomb. Happy Wednesday, all! The day´s getting warmer everyday and the sun´s setting longer too. Spring´s in town, people, I hope you´re enjoying it as much as I do. :) Anyway, when spring arrives, my color choices tend to go towards the lighter side of the spectrum athough I sill accessorize with dark colors in mind like this brown clutch which I´ve had for years. I still haven´t done my spring cleaning.   Have you?   And  I´m  still shopping from my closet. After many years of just buying hoarding things, I´ve come to realize that you only need the basics to dress everyday. It´s just a question of mixing, matching and accessorizing everything and you´re done. Good morning! So spring´s finally here, yey ! I thought that it would never come because just three days ago we´re having snow. See that white foamy patch near my left foot in the picture below? That´s what´s left of winter, hihi. :) Anyway, here´s what I wore last weekend while visiting MIL, just the good ole basics ( wet hair included) of a mottled/ tie dyed printed ripped jeans, a linen buttondown, a pewter colored faux leather jacket  and not an ounce of jewelry because we´re in hurry. I wonder if it´s time to do a little spring cleaning this week, the weather´s been really great although when you live in a city where it´s sunny today and then it´s winter tomorrow, you´d never know what to keep in your closet, lol! We´re having the annual Holy Week holidays this week and I´m so excited because we´re travelling to the eastern part of Spain in Catalonia. Good morning, dears ! Here´s something light and breezy to usher in spring 2015 which is SO not happening today because it´s snowing in my side of town. Booo! Anyway, these are pics from early autumn of last year which I wasn´t able to post because my real life became busier, hehehe. A pair of white rolled up pants and light checks in lavender and gray would be the perfect look to usher in spring, no ? I only wore this white ¨boyfriend¨ jeans twice last year  ( I know, I´m really bad at remixing) but this year, you´re going to see a LOT of this classic colored pair especially that my dressing mantra these days is the minimalist look . Good morning, dahlings ! I have a soft spot for denim shirt dresses because it reflects my dressing philosophy in life nowadays which is laid back and no fuss aka ¨lazy dressing¨, lol! So if I would have to wear a dress everyday, it should only be denim, right? ;) We had the sun up for almost two weeks and so I was able to wear this shirt dress with a light jacket but then, reality sunk in again and right now we´re back to winter mode.
