So Blue In Tights

Image
A knitted top and tights for me is the perfect outfit combo on a cold rainy day. Since technically it´s still summer, a light brown skirt will do while the tights can be sheer but patterned for that oomph factor. After my yellow fever last week, I´ve gone blue these days. I´ve also noticed that about 30% of my wardrobe is colored blue and it´s not even my favorite color! Oh well it only shows that blue is a universal color too aside from black. Here´s a slightly updated look with a scarf around the neck. Then you´re ready to conquer the world! Ooops, after taking just two shots, we ran towards the car because it started to pour really hard! So much for some outdoor shots in the rain. huahahahha! Wearing: knitted top - Pull&Bear skirt and shoes - local dep´t store brand tights - Blanco pouch - Bershka So what do you usually wear on rainy days aside from your raincoat and rainboots? ;) Enjoy your Wednesday, lu...

Playing with Beads

Image
A month ago, when my hair was much manageable and nicer, I took these photos but forgot to blog about it. I have this long beaded necklace for like three years  now and was quite bored wearing it the same way over and over again, hanging it loose or doubly strung around my neck. So I decided to wrap it around my hair a la headband style for a change. Then two things happened: 1st , it got too tight I was afraid it would break (  2 years ago it wasn´t this tight ---> uh-oh, my head´s gotten bigger!?!) and  2nd,  some hair strands got stuck around the necklace. I had a hard time detangling it and so I had no choice but to cut some of them. Ouch! But it looks cute in the photo, no? So much for being innovative. Probably if you have a small head, you could try this because it looks really nice. ;) As for me, I´ll  just leave the beads to where they originally belong, nicely hangin...

Yellow Sunday

Image
I know.. I know, it´s still a Saturday and I´m not planning to wear something yellow tomorrow. This was what I actually wore last Sunday. Something soft, thin and flowy to survive the summer heat. I´m obsessed with yellow nowadays, I wear it even on my wrist. ;) As usual, it took me five minutes to decide on this outfit because the hubz was in a hurry to go out of the house like always, hence ,  the out of sync bag color. I didn´t know matching gray with yellow would work well but as long as it´s anything  light and dark it sh ould blend nicely, noh? ( top and skirt - H&M, bag - Zara, leather flat sandals - Pull&Bear) If I haven´t taken a photo of this look, I wouldn´t remember that I wore this exactly 6 days ago. Hello, short memory . And you, do you still remember what you wore last Sunday? ;) Che

Orange Zebra Stripes

At La Coruña/ A Coruña. Aside from the usual sights, it´s the mariscado and dessert which I´m craving for. A heavenly meal consists of a seafood platter paired with a glass of Albarinho wine and   to top it off , a delicious slice of tarta de whisky for dessert. Yum! (Tower of Hercules)   Then off you go to the beach or vice-versa, it doesn´t matter because everything looks good and tastes good too! :) Ah, that was more than two weeks ago. I´m now back to the real world ---> no beach, just mountains and hills . hehe! As for the title of this post, here´s what I wore: ( top - Mango. skirt - Stradivarius) How´s your week so far? Blowing you kisses from here, Che

Surviving Summer

Image
My go-to summer top when everything else fails. It´s long which I can pair with shorts for those sizzling(literally) hot summer days and with a pair of skinny jeans for the chilly summer days. If I look weird in the photo below, it´s because I placed the camera on top of the ledge of the balcony  half fearing that it would fall. Haay, the things that you´d  do for a better photo. ( plaid shirt dress - Pull & Bear, bangle - Blanco, necklace - Promod) So what´s your fave go-to summer combination? Enjoy your week, luvlies ! :) Che PS: These are actually three- week old photos which I´ve forgotten to post until now. More travel photos on my next posts and expect to see a much rounder and plumplier face too. ;)

3 Things

Image
Just before the summer ends, let me share with you the 3 things that I´m loving these days. 1. A Cheese and Fruit Platter Summer is hot. When it´s so hot I don´t usually eat but I feel thirsty. So instead of drinking fizzy drinks why not go natural with fruits? A little cheese which is rich in calcium is also good for your bones. And if you feel just a tad classy, pair it with a galss of white wine. I know alcohol isn´t good for the skin and dehydrates the body but indulging on it once in a while doesn´t hurt much. ;) 2. Miranda Kerr´s Chic Casual Look Dimples, killer bod, mile long legs, Orlando Bloom( hehe!) and her sense of fashion. So what´s not to love about Miranda Kerr? I´ve tried the plaid shirt dress and leather jacket look but I haven´t tried yet the stripe shirt dress and blazer ensemble that she´s wearing. Hmmm, does that mean that I´d be buying a stripe shirt dress soon? ;)   photo and story source Of course, pairing it a classi...

Blue Floral Swirls

Third day of our Galician trip was spent at Lugo. A very old city founded by the Romans which we failed to see the last time we where in Galicia. Cam whoring while waiting for a small museum to open. We didn´t get to see what´s inside because it´s reserved for the whole afternoon. At least I get to take photos outside. My photos . hehe! Admiring the graceful columns of the main musem´s ¨ cloister ¨. The only place where we can take photos. Most of the museums here in Spain do not allow photo taking. Too bad because I´d have shown you a lot of things. A sundial. At first sight I  blurted:¨What´s that piece of rusty blade doing at the center of an old slab with diagonal lines?¨ The hubz replied: ¨ That´s not a piece of ordinary stone, Che. That´s a sundial!¨  There. So you know now. I´ve got little imagination.Weeheehee! My swirly floral top and and mini. The top is new, the mini is old. Ten years to be exact. Now you know why it´s r...
